Occainsionally I drop by LOL
stock converter should stall arond 16001800 rpm so you want the cam into the powerband before then so the 302 cam should work great for you & will pull to 5600 or so ,
If you have no plans to make the engine more powerful a 780 vacuum may work best for you , the most important thing is to have removable bleeds , 4 corner idle etc for tuning , personally I love the 850 DP & would learn to drive it it will pull like crazy in the upper powerband , your call

The cam and lifters kit is 10230702 LK  That is the 302 cam.

The spring kit is 73815k6

Don't think the spring kit includes new valve seals   75504-16

And, the three bolt timing set to match the 3 bolt cam is 94225

All the above are lunati numbers and I would search Summit, amazon.com, ebay, or whatever for pricing.

Chryco may have other brands of springs, etc. that he may prefer from experience and I will leave that for him.

In theory, Lunati should offer a total kit but I did not find one listed other than in their catalog

There are a number of spring choices , as long as they have a good reputation for quality , can acoomodate the lift & have the same pressure you are good to go , there are Beehive springs also.
I use the JP performace billet timing chain sets with 7 keys so it is easy to degree the cam in .

I assume you will replace the timing chain as well
Timing generally works around 12-16* at idle , 36 * total & do not connect the vacuum advance

Don't connect it when adjusting the timing or not at all?

it will adavance with RPM using the mechanical system , under load there may be no more airflow through the carb so even with the vacuum connected it may not advance

I am going to put the cam, chain, carb, and new intake in in the next couple days. What lube should I use to install the cam and lifters and what is the breakin procedure?

there is usually a high zinc moly type grease to coat the cam lobes , check my intial fire up sequence in the archives , the engine should be run at 1800 rpm for 20 mins or so with a high zinc oil , nothing with SM or SN rating will work , SJ is best or use an additive like Comp Cams break in lube

either use the break in additive, or use Joe Gibbs or Brad Penn break in oil with no additional additive other than the stuff you coat on the lobes and lifter bases.
