im going to be doing this soon too. i was told to do the inside of the doors, basically the back side of the outer skin. would you guys do this and the inner door where the panel sits on?
Once I finished adjusting my glass and was satisfied with the function of all my door hardware, I then sealed the entire outer part of the inside door skin with hushmat. Just cut out around the locks, handles mirror adjuster etc. The door panel will fit over it (my new Metro ones did) with no issues. The first time you shut the door with the sound deadener in place a huge smile will be unavoidable. The doors will sound like a new car.
I wish I had made pics but I didnt. I did the floors, doors, firewall and quarter glass area. It was definitely worth the money, this stuff ain't cheap.
