Do yourself a favour and DON'T bubble gum patch it like the last butcher did. You're into this thing now and to get your money's worth, I'd get the req'd panels from an AMD dealer- of which there's at least 2 of them on this site; and fix it right. I'm not talking some chalk mark perfect restoration, but a real, driveable safely, repair. If either your or your buddy's welding skills are up to it, you can section every panel, including the frame rails, on the car if you don't want to replace them. There are used parts out there and I bought and installed a frt frame rail myself, just make sure it's good, solid stuff up front. Be careful how you support the car if you get into rail replacement, since it'll sag and once you weld the new stuff in, it's a real beotch to change anything. Take your time and you'll be happier when you're done. Good luck
