TTI thermal barrier

hey, getting ready to buy a TTI exhaust kit and headers, to have the entire system  polished with inside and out thermal  barrier would be around $2500 bucks. do you think i would need from the headers back done inside? and also if any one knows does it change the tone of the exhaust?  thx for you help   bruce

Stainless steel exhaust after headers? I think there are a few company make the kit. I think TTI is just aluminized carbon steel.

I've got full TTI under my challenger but only the headers are ceramic coated(I assume that's what you mean by "thermal barrier"?)
Getting the twin 3" system in ceramic probably wouldn't have been a bad idea since the floor does get a bit warm.I've been thinking about maybe making some heat shields for it.
IMO stay away from stainless.It radiates too much heat.I've recently got rid of stainless headers on 2 of my cars and never looked back :2cents:
Burnouts are cool but Traction is the Action

 I've got TTI headers with thermal barrier and it really help with heat en the engine bay compare to the Headman Hedders is used to have. The rest of my exhaust is Magnaflow stainless steel 2.5" cross flow. I don't have any heat problem on the floor. But the weather her in Norway is pretty cool

thanks for the info guys, i might just bite the bullit and get it all coated. another question is about the mufflers not sure which to choose magnaflow/flowmaster/dynomax what is the consences on which one sounds and performs better???,the exhaust will be 3" with TTi headers.  thanks for your help in advance   bruce

Love my magnaflows but I've never tried the others. The magnaflow sound always turns heads.
