Cuda owner again
« on: July 05, 2013 - 06:39:59 AM »
I was the second owner of a 1970 Cuda with shaker hood , 340 , 4 spd , burnt orange w/ black vinyl top . It was my high school car and later turned into a race car . I put it back on the street and for the life of me I don't know why I sold it . That was 30 years ago . I recently purchased a AAR Cuda Clone . It's actually a '73 Cuda with '70 grill , tail lights , side marker lights . I had sticker shock when I decided to look for a '70 Cuda again . This was perfect for me . I get the '70 look without paying the extra $$$ . Overall , the cars in pretty nice shape . But , like any used car I'm working on making it the way I want it . Miss driving a 4 speed car with a big cam . So much FUN !!!

Interiors in good shape , although it still has the '73 rear seat upholstery .
I just changed the door panels and arm rest .

Rallye  Dash . I was told it was sent in to be redone . Clock doesn't work . Gas gauge moves but does not work . I saw the post on solder / ground wire to pick up . Another project to work on . Previous owner changed the pickup twice , trying to get it to work . Nice to have power steering / brakes in a hot rod .
