They turned a rare and valuable car into just another restomod, what a shame. The v code cars sale could have almost paid for the whole project with a 318 car.

That's just wrong. If they want to do it with a fender tagless 318 car it's one thing, but to do it to a  440-6 car with the fender tag still there and even the coolant instructions still on the rad support is insane. The build sheet might even still be in there somewhere and they'll probably just toss it if they find it.

Maybe next they can put a new Shelby engine in a 69 Z 28, or a Viper engine in an original AC Cobra

Not what I would have done, but it's hard to argue with the support network behind those LS engines.
Seems like a very poor choice from a money standpoint.  Starting with a much less valuable small block or a 383 would  make more sense.

LS motors are awesome so don't mind that but cutting it up is stupid and for a stock motor?

Maybe these guys just didn't know which restomod suspensions and engines are available for ebodies?

I think they could have achieved the same results with no cutting at all:

1. Install an RMS alterkation setup in the front, a 4-link in the rear.
2. Install a Mopar crate motor.
3. Install a Keisler or Passon transmission.

And yes, it would be a shame if that was an original v-code car.

I was thinking the same thing. Look it's there car they can do what they want. But it doesnt make sense. The sale of the 440 6 pack car could have paid for and funded their project.
