News:
I bought a mirror kit with the hardware and nuts to shrink up the T nut when you tighten it. The only problem is that you cant get behind the plate in the door to put the nut on the screw. The mirror is a remote mirror. Anyone one else have this issue?
Check this out for how to install driver's/passenger's mirror.http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/mirrors.shtml
Very interesting! Thanks! I may go that route. That looks way easier.
Are you going to Carlisle? I could bring the tool for you to borrow.
That is an interesting tool . . . Would that work on a passenger door that has never had a mirror? is there something on the inside of the door that helps support the mirror?
