Best OEM Appearing 3 & 4 Core Radiators?
« on: July 09, 2013 - 10:57:42 PM »
Considering staying with an original size 22" radiator in my Roadrunner and was wondering who makes the best stock appearing hi-cool radiators for our Mopars.  Will have to cool a 500 HP stroker motor I have planned.  Any and all suggestions will be appreciated as I'll do my homework before buying.

Thanks in advance, Jim

Nice reproductions but you can tell they aren't exactly like OEM.
Pricey to say the least.

I'd like to know this myself... or at least an a nice aluminum 2 row w the BIG tubes. 22's seem to be a tuff find w/o a bunch of mods....  :dunno:

OUCH!  $1200 for a 22", $1260 if its date coded! They look good, but wow that's expensive.  Thanks for the link, I bookmarked it but I hope somebody can offer a less expensive option.....

Thanks again, Jim

There isn't any other.
they're the only licensed Chrysler radiator repo going right now.

If you want the Pentastar on it with the correct Rad numbers, you're going to pay the Piper.

Not necessarily the answer I was hoping for, but thanks none the less.  If they're it they're it, I may see about recoring my original radiator if the tanks are too far gone to save.  Otherwise I'll be paying that Piper I guess!

How exact are you looking?

I have a buddy that got a rad through cool craft and you can tell it's not OEM but it works really well.

HEre is the rad without the pentastar http://www.jimsautoparts.com/radiators_and_heater_cores.htm

That actually looks more like the one in the Bird than the expensive one.  The official Mopar restoration part looks like it models an earlier 22" radiator as the top tank is very different than mine.  I googled Cool Craft and got a good picture of their Big Block 22" radiator and its fairly close.  Thanks a lot.
