Just catching up on posts.   My horn relay doubles as a key in switch buzzer in my 70. I don't know about other years without looking. Does your horn work?      There was also an optional jumper diode that plugged in, that makes that buzzer buzz if you leave the lights on, then open the door.

Thanks Rob.  I'll check that out.  I don't think it occurred to me to check if the buzzer worked properly when the lights were on.  The horn works for sure.  Always tooting back at someone waving at us.

PS love you pace car.  I'm glad I got to see it!

I just threw that together to fake people out. Didn't spend tons of money. Car has only been out 2 years and it's getting beat up! Oh well, Just drove it 2600 miles in a little over 2 weeks. Having fun doing it.

The 2 wires for the key in buzzer are added to one of the connectors. Do they show continuity when you push the key in?
All these wires were in my head when I did my dash. I think it was all pushed out with other stuff. The Diode deal was only on one of my harnesses so I think it was optional. Most didn't have the lights on buzzer option.
