Oh those poor tires.  Car is flat through the corners.  Too much for those tires to handle.  Guess I know what you will be saving for this off season!
Yup!  :grinyes:

Not really good. Once my tires got hot it really seemed to slide, especially in that one sharp corner, but the brakes worked much better when they got hot. The 70 Charger looked totally stock ( stock sway bars etc) so to compare to that I was over 11 seconds quicker, but driver is also a factor?( maybe it was his first time?) I think I only got one run in that counted as I kept missing the corner and then the car started heating up too much to continue. To be clear I only won because I was the only e-body to try! :-[  Not exactly bragging rights! :grinno:

Still, you were only 8 seconds slower than the leader that day. Aint too shabby, you still have alot of bragging rights with that car man.

I wish I had been there to see you guys tear it up.   :burnout:

Congrats to both of you. I would have either driven through the fence, or took an hour to complete the course.

Interestingly, there are only 10 classics in the top 24 times.
Hmmmm.

Brad, I'm sure you could have borrowed some street stock spec class tires from someone at home and had lotsa more grip than your street tires

When I was running street stocks we used Towel City recaps. While kind of hard for a race tire, they did grip pretty decent and when new, they had 2-3* of camber built into the tread face. We always put a new tire on the rear each weekend for that reason.

That's what we run also ( towel city )

Nice job Brad! And Viperman! Not many people are willing to put their car (and reputation) on the line like that.  I for one had a blast out there even though I am strictly in the middle of the pack.  Watch out Jeff, I'm nipping on your heels as #2 in the modern muscle class!   :roflsmiley:
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?

2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Blackberry Pearl.

Yeah Greg,  I did a little bragging on the "SRT - Drive SRT" Facebook page about how I was the ONLY Viper-owner who had the guts to run the autocross course.  :)  I'm really surprised too - it's not like it was a hard course, or a dangerous course, or even a dirty course...  Maybe everyone was terrified of the gravel area in the pits...?   :dunno:

I got the Magnum down to a 44.186.  There was definitely a 43.XXX in it, but I ran out of time before the awards (to grab Brad).  Not bad for a stock suspension Late B with 17" wheels and solid k-frame bushings.  I would love to see the overall list with the Sat and Sun included.
