    I just factored out the mileage and gas costs at 12 mpg. 1800 miles each way and about 1200 bucks in fuel alone with an oil change somewhere along the way. I should easily have my car done by then with a few 400-600 mile shakedown runs in. I am going to add my name to the list. I have wanted to go to Carlisle since I joined the board. should be able to do it all for around 3 grand which I can save if I start now. Count me in!

    Some people like "Topcat" from CA. just flew in in 07 and hung out. So did BabyElephant from Sweeden. No need to spend gobs of money. Find the cheapest way to get to Carlisle and hang out with Mopar people!

    Driving 12 hours for me one-way by myself. Didn't see another Mopar fan headed the same direction, (that I could tell).

    Kept driving because I knew there was a happy end point. Car people, a car show and swap meet. Same reason I was driving the Hot Rod Power Tour by myself, when no one else could go. Car people all enjoying a drive.

    If all goes according to plan, my 72 convertible will be back next year.  This time it won't look like an extra from Joe Dirt.

    I agree, I could have gotten someone into the show free everyday as I drove down solo.

    Scott & Wendy, (Dodj) as long as we can get time off to coincide with the show. We may even drive by Brad and pick him up along the way south through Ontario.
