Anyone make new Steering column couplers for E's?
« on: July 16, 2013 - 09:20:59 PM »
I was getting ready to install the new coupler seal on the steering column of my friend's '71 Challenger R/T, but the coupler's detents for the collar tabs are worn down and I can't use it any more...... Anyone make these new?

I do not know of a new supplier , I doubt it will be E body specific , any coupler with the same spline will work , I assume it has power steering ?

Any Dodge truck coupler will work. They are the same. Available at your friendly Dodge dealership.

If you don't want to use the stock coupler "cap", there is a company "springs and things" that makes a slide on boot to eliminate the cap. It's $25.00 bux. I would go this route.
