Rear window louvers
« on: July 18, 2013 - 10:30:23 AM »
OK. Ready to bite the bullet. Dales Cuda Shop or herbs? Or whoever else? I want the best fitting ones. One time buy - no mess ups. Thanks.

My vote is for Dales Cuda Shop :2cents:....or the ones made by Gene Gregory sold through Six Pack Performance are also supposed to be the best.

Stay away from Gene.  This is the 2nd set he sent me, 1st was even worse.
Guy had a total attitude, it was a nightmare dealing with him.

Go with Dales cuda shop.  That's where I got mine from.  My car is an original louvered car---but they were missing when I bought it. Still had the mounting posts and hinge holes in the roof. Dales louvers were a dead on bolt up.  A very nice quality product, and you can't beat the price compared to Genes or LPI.   Highly recomend them.    :2thumbs:

I got mine from here...   http://www.groupenetwork.com/LPI.htm  one year at Moparfest in Ontario. I'm happy with them! Wouldn't surprise me if they are the supplier for herbs etc.... :dunno:

I bought two sets from LPI, but I agree, I don't think they're making them anymore. :dunno:

I ordered a set this morning from Dale's Cuda Shop. I told them that they were highly recommended here. After I had placed my order, the lady called back and said since I was a group member, I got 15% off! Very Nice! Man, I can hardly wait! Thanks everyone...

$740 shipped. They really make the car, in my humble opinion! About a week ago I saw a newer Mustang at work with some louvers on it. It was sharp!

They were a $40.00 option from the factory. I just hope and pray that they won't arrive all mangled up. I don't have ANY luck with FedEx or UPS. They could break a 2 x 6 wrapped in double boxes and styrofoam. They just leave the package all mashed up and "jingly - a clue that it's all broke" and run. NO recourse to get any money back. I've gone thru it time and time again.
