I'm a mere 9 hours away, but I can donate a couple of days myself.

I have a 70 Challenger grill that would look so good on that Cuda.

I'd make an exaggerated comment while flailing my arms, but I don't think this is the right forum for that...  :)

With the used parts I'd suggest PM Andy for his address? That's not something that should be posted on the net IMO?
With the Canadian members maybe hold off for a bit as I don't know if it will be me or member Blownmotor that will go down first?  (Just thinking who in Canada to send the parts too?)

I've got a brand new hood-to-cowl seal that I don't need. It's still in the package.

It's the Top Catwhiskers one that has the clips pre-installed.

If you need it, just PM me a name and address and I'll send it.

Brad, when do you think this is going to happen? I'm going to Jackson MI in a few weeks which is just west of Ann Arbor. I can take a bunch of stuff and drop it off. Could also stop at Roseville and pick up parts. I'll be going right past there.

Looks like you will be going down before me? How can I get some parts to you to take down? Some parts are big ( leaf springs)? Glad to drive somewhere to meet up sometime?

I have a new ECS windshield I can donate.
Shipping would be tough, if we can set something up from western Pa to location would be best.

C-C.com members:
Friends:

This is heartwarming to a degree that boggles the mind.

Andy and I go back a few years. He and I became fast friends when I was starting the build on my Challenger, and he was beginning the work on his Cuda.
We are both from Michigan, and don't live too far apart. On many occassions Andy has come to my rescue both on my Challenger, and my house. That's the kind of guy he is- completely selfless. He has been a fixture at our house over the last year, that's for sure. I know he's always willing and able to offer assistance to anyone in need. It's great to see Karma (carma) return the favor.
While it's difficult for Andy to accept this magnitude of help, he understands that this wonderful community of enthusiasts wants to see him get in his car and enjoy it.
Andy and I have spoken at great length about this very subject.  He has asked me to do what I can because he feels uncomfortable in this situation.
Please understand it is very difficult for him to chime in on this post.
I know everyone wants to do what they can to help this wonderful man out.
I know Andy would really like to see his vision carried out as best as possible, but I think  he feels like it would be like kicking a gift horse in the mouth.
I think it would be great to coordinate parts on Andy's list as best we can. Many of you want to donate parts, and would like an address. Sending parts is great, but in the case of duplicates, please do not be offended if we have to return the parts to their rightful owners, or if they are too big to send back, we suggest that the duplicate parts be saved to donate to another member in need, or sold to help cover costs incurred.
If people feel like they just want to donate their time, or money, we can do that too.
If you want to donate cash to help fund Andy's vision,  Andy's PayPal is: Acgdmknox@msn.com

If you want to be anonymous, that's ok. If you want to announce who you are, please do so.

I know I haven't been around a lot- life can get in the way of your favorite hobby in a hurry. I do miss you all. :)

Once we get rolling, I will do my best to help manage/coordinate things with Andy. He has always been a great friend, and there is probably no one else I would want to do this for.

I have a suggestion: please let me know if this is ok-
If you have parts to donate that are specific to his list, and are interested in contributing,  I can PM the member who is willing to donate the particular part, and ask the moderator to cross off that particular item.
Once the item has been crossed off, I will PM  Andy's choice of address.
This should ensure no duplicates.
Please check the list Brad posted.

Best,
Dan Zimmermann

Dan,

Thanks for getting involved here.   :worshippy

I really can't donate to the parts list, but I will send Andy $$ so he can buy what he needs.
