Looks like you will be going down before me? How can I get some parts to you to take down? Some parts are big ( leaf springs)? Glad to drive somewhere to meet up sometime?

Brad we'll be going on Aug 23 and I'm honoured to be able to do this. I'll take the truck so parts size won't matter. We can meet somewhere, got time to figure that out.

If anyone else from Ontario is donating parts please chime in so we can co-ordinate collection by Aug 22.
In search of the eternal buzz!

I don't know to say, but Thank You to every one here. The generosity pouring in is so overwhelming that I am
at a complete loss for words. I'm sorry, I'm not ignoring anybody on purpose. Some wonderful people are trying to coordinate
the logistics of this effort so that my build may go smoothly. I am trying to update my restoration thread so that you guys can see
where I am at in the process. The shell is painted and I have most of the interior components about ready to install. When
I get done wet sanding the car the vinyl roof can be installed, then the dash and glass can be put in. This week will be kinda slow for me as the Chemo drags me down for about 4 or 5 days.  Again, Thank You to all of you here, your kind words and support help
me get by every day.

Does his hands flail wildly when he talks too or is that just a "Dave" thing? Thought maybe it was a MI thing?  :stirpot: :roflsmiley:

Hey Mike, I was working on putting the glass in the door today. What a nightmare. I'm having a bit of difficulty
concentrating so I'm sure that compounds the problems. I think I have all of the hardware for the doors. I got a kit from R/T specialties
but I'm not sure if all the little washers and parts are in the kit. I'll look some more tomorrow.

If he would be making the trip again let me know I can meet him for the transfer or he can pick it up at the shop which is about an hour north of Pittsburgh.
Dave

I might just know someone going to Mopar Nats. from Pittsburgh. I'll check it out. Thanks Dave!

An updated list of parts needed would be great.  I didn't see anything on the first list that I remember having in the basement, but who knows..  I gotta believe I've got something down there.

I think soon we are going to have to come up with some more details on the parts . . . . I know Andy has some ideas of the stroker kit and he is capable of building the engine and has access to a machine shop!  These are all a bonus!   If we can pick the stroker kit and get a plan on the engine, we can decide on a carb and intake.

I am going to start a donation thread for some of the members that would lIke to help with this cause but have no parts to donate . . . A lot of the parts will have to be purchased and Dave from Roseville has already said he will do all he can with prices to help this cause!  Either I or other members will drive and pick up parts to save money on shipping.

Thanks in advance to all members that are willing to help out with this cause!    :2thumbs:
