I do not think so, the black clips on the roof pict hold the dome light wiring to my best knowledge.

I just read the first 50 pages in the Interior section. what I understand but I may be wrong is that these clip are for roof reinforcement with elongated holes, so it looks like mI have bows, clips and headliner that won't fit my barracuda.

the bows I have have straight ends and I may need some with bent ends ....  anyone ?

What year is the car?  I think 70-71 used clips to hold the bows.  In 73-74, the bows just push into one of the three holes you have pictured.  I'm not sure what type of bows the 72's used.

Those green triangle clips are used on 70 only and some early 71 Cudas.

Your car DOES NOT use them. Your headliner rods should have 45* bends at each end that fit into one of the holes in that three hole triangle pattern. You can use the hole that best suits your needs for a tight fitting headliner.

If your rods have straight ends...you're S.O.L. :2cents:

I assume they are there because of production variences.  You'll just have to try one and see if the headliner is up tight to the roof.  If it is hanging down a little, try the upper hole.  If there is too much slack in one of the panels, try the hole farther back.
