manual washer pump question

Ok so I ran all new lines from the washer tank to the rubber foot pump and also new lines up to the squirters? Doesn't work so I assume the foot pump is the issue?  It was never hooked up since I owned the car so I have no idea if it ever worked?
Next step is to remove the foot pump and inspect? Anyone been down this road? Anything to look out for?
 
Is the foot pump being repopped?

could be a bad diaphragm or a bad check valve , pressing the diaphragm & blocking the lines it should not expand if it hold vacuum , if the check valve is bad it may be just pushing fluid back & forth

I think some fords had inline check valves that could easily solve the issue

Yeah, I've taken mine apart, re-conditioned it and sold it for 5 bucks. Once you get into it you'll figure it out, it's pretty simple.  Neil's already mentioned the main things that could go bad.

My Bad , no ford parts the engine will distroy itself !!

SUCCESS     Took me about half an hour to fix it. I figured it's broke, take it apart you can't break it anymore? Turns out from sitting for who knows how many years the valve that consists of check balls in the plastic nozzles was stuck in place with a bunch of "crud" I sprayed it with WD-40 and blew it out a few times to clean it out and it worked again. Lots of crud in the rubber diaphragm too.   I installed it and it leaked between the diaphragm and the check valve  ( I think?) so I disassembled it again and spread some "form a gasket around the rubber parts and reassembled it and installed it again. I'll let it dry overnight and try in the morning.  When assembling it make sure the nozzles are at 90 degrees so the check balls can operate properly.

Yep...always "check balls" for proper positioning...
