     :wave:  What's the procedure for changing a leaky front crank seal on a 440, and should I check anything else there? Thanks! Greg in the Sublime Green Time Machine.   :wave:

    basically have to remove everything from the front of the block to get to the timing cover, seal is pressed in from the inside of the timing cover, good time to check the chain and sprockets if need

    Often the seal wears a groove in the balancer , it can be replaced or you can install a speedy sleeve on the shaft of the damper .

    Thanks Neil and Dave. It isn't a bad leak but throws a little oil on my right brake.
    Still working on the 5700 rpm miss.  Can avoid it in first two gears by shifting at 5400 but around 95 mph it keeps me from finishing the quarter mile in power. 13.05 et should be at least a 12.5 . Especially with the MT streets I put on.
