Anybody have a pic of an original 70 Challenger R/T (LA Car)power Brake booster. Sending it to Dewey and want the correct finish.
How was the master cylinder finished?

Typically in 70 they used Bendex boosters. The complete assembly, including the master cylinder, should be painted semi-gloss black.

Actually the the number for the Bendix booster is 18268. the booster is painted gloss black and the master cylinder p/n 2229171 is painted semi gloss blk. I just went thru all of this.... I am an expert... ; ) I just gave you about 40 hrs of research ; ) Paul
