    Modern Electronics for Ralle Guages

    Does anyone make updated electronics for the oil and temp guages for a ralle E-Body. If not they should, these guages suck big time........

    Aftermarket gauges are made every day... what's wrong with yours? They can also be rebuilt if needed.

     T off where the point of contact is and add under dash gauges.

    Stewart Warner didn't get big for no reason.

    I don't want aftermarket guages, looks a little tacky in a restored car in my opinion. Just figured someone would make a matching original face guage with modern electronics on the back.

    I have done the clock, amp gauge doesn't bother me. Did the tach upgrade but it still is not very accurate.

    The amp gauge should bother you, it's a potential fire hazard if you haven't bypassed it.

    One way to keep the amp gauge working good is to ensure the terminal nuts on the back are kept reasonably tight so the wire lugs cannot rotate. I have mine like that and zero issues over the last 4 years.

    Just get REdline gauges to redo your AMP to a Volt, and have the Temp and Oil redone by them where they calibrate it.  Not sure if it can be made more "modern".

    :iagree:   That and the fusable link starter relay connection should be replaced with a 60 amp maxi fuse
