My user name wasn't being used and it was one of my cars.  I have since used it on all web boards and Ebay.  I spelled it the way I did on purpose.

I am a clueless moron that used the nickname my group of friends gave me years ago and proceeded to inadvertently offend half the members here.  :banghead: :pullinghair:  Completely unintentional and I hope they've forgiven me by now.   :sadwavey:  That and all the cool Challenger related names were taken.
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?

I grew up in Los Gatos hence the name in Spanish..."The Cats"
I knew the back alleys in town really well living there so long.

Cops would try to shut us down on cruise nights.
I knew how to evade the cops just like TopCat did.
Never was caught or cited.

1st mate on the boat Topless.
Many a good day we had out on the high seas slamming salmon and tuna.

Add it all up and it spells "Topcat"

Here's a picture of the legendary Cats Mountain Charlie raised.
They're Icon statues here.

I was a little late to the computer world....I remember about 14-15 years ago my brother was really into this "New World Wide Web" thing and was telling me I needed an email address...I didn't really know what for because I didn't own a computer at the time...
What I did have at the time was a new girlfriend named Lynn....and for some crazy reason I thought she might be interested in this car hobby of mine and thought it would be nice to include her....

ANLAUTO stands for Alan aNd Lynn AUTOmotive.

Little did I know that after 13 years of mariage she could care less what goes on here in the garage... :smilielol:

The email address has remained the same all those years and it didn't take long for people to call me ANAL AUTO either :22yikes:

My business is officially called Alan Gallant Automotive Restoration or I use AGAR....(but not legally)
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Back in the day I beat on my car rather firmly.       When the tranny went out it got parked in the garage. Some 20 + years later I was remotivated to get it running again. The first thing I ran into was the accelerator pump in the carb was stuck solid----so when I pulled the carb and manifold I found  these. A couple were bent so bad I could not get them out of the heads and had to pull them to get the push rods out. Broke a lifter to. I had put on adjustable rocker arms---guess I did'nt get them adjusted right.  Plus in that time period I am pretty sure alcohol was involved.     :drunk:    Thus the name.

Not my Charger ??

hahaha  as I was driving by, I was pretending I was in your charger Neil.   The track is 10 miles long and 80ft wide, with a black stripe down the middle. I wondered how an 8.5 rear with 245 gears would do with your hp

I chose Cuda'Hunter because I spent many a year trying to find a 71 I could afford.

Now I like the name as I have a car problem, and it obviously says I want to buy your car.

I have to add that I hunt White Tail and Cougars  :naughty: :naughty: :money:

Alan, I thought for sure yours stood for anal auto.   Your restorations were a direct link with that name.  Beautiful cars!
