69 Mustang Fastback for trade
« on: August 05, 2013 - 02:08:52 AM »
Picked this up last week and I don't have much of a desire to keep it. Car is a 69 base model fastback with the standard interior, manual brakes, and power steering. Originally came with a 351 Windsor and an auto. Original motor is gone, the current motor runs but needs a carb rebuild. The only cancer spot is on the passenger side door, but the quarters will need some work as they were hacked up when they added those awful fender flares. Other than the passenger door, I can't find any other rust other than just surface rust, but the car will obviously need some body work. Car is about 99% complete and needs a full restoration. Planning on selling it as I am a mopar man, but thought I would throw it out there for a potential trade in case anyone has something interesting to offer. I wold be interested in Harley's, rat rods, 50's and early 60's station wagons or possibly something else. Highly prefer a mopar and highly prefer something that currently runs. Just a disclaimer, I have no idea what I am looking for, so please do not be offended if I don't have interes in your trade offer.

Cool car. What was the original color?

Original color was a light green with black interior.

Must be an M code and I was wondering if it had the blackout hood option. Would be cool.

Wish it was a 4 speed cause I'd be calling you and not far away from NV. I guess Hot August nights are coming up for flipping or selling though!

I don't believe the current hood is the original, but I could be wrong. I bought the car out of pahrump, nv, but it is now home in salt lake.
