Hmmm.
Let me get my magnifying glass out.

Any possible way you can resize that to 800 x 600 pixels?
Looks like I need a different pic.....it does look good before the upload at the smaller resolution.

It was driven occasionally from what I was told, and had a car show plaque in the car from 2009.
It is a running & driving car, now just need to find a shop to do some metal work....I have heard of some guys that have spun off of MCR and that might be a possibility?
I have realized that although I would love to do the work myself, there is just not enough time in a day, with owning my own business, and the fact that my 78 dodge kit car has been a 3 year+ resto and is still in primer "just" about ready for paint.

Send me a new pic of it not resized. Preferably in natural sunlight.
Indoor lighting messes up pictures. Makes things yellowed and blurry.

I sent you a PM my e-mail.
I'll resize it. and put it here.

Lucky you! I'll bet that colour gets some attention. I've never seen it before.

I called a friend looking for a carb, and told him the story about how I found this car. He said he heard a similar story years back and mentioned that another friend had found a similar car, and it was most likely the same car. Well, I got a call yesterday and sure enough, his friend had owned the car and was the second owner of the car. He found it in 1996 near Wausau WI and  was all original  and complete down to the tires.
It was on blocks in a building and after putting some oil in the cylinders and adding air to the tires and some fresh gas, she fired right up.
He owned the car for 4 years and sold it in 2000. Around 2 months later he got a call from a police department wondering if he was o.k., he said yes, why do you ask? They mentioned that the car had been involved in a bicycle accident (no there wasn't actually anyone on the bike, so I was told) and the car had run off the road and hit this bike while a kid was jumping off a bridge. It was a strange incident, and the car was eventually impounded. The title was still in his name as the new owners had not yet transferred it. He tried to get the car back, but failed. The car disappeared after that and 2 years ago he met someone that new where the car was, but he wasn't telling where. Well here is a picture of the car back in 1997. He had put the Craiger rims on it and the original rims ended up on the car pictured next to it. He mentioned the original owner had put the sun roof on it when the car was brand new (damn).
We are going to get together in the following weeks to re-unite.

Cool story!  If these cars could talk we would all be amazed.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
