"I know of a car" story that started on Monday finally turned into a real nice find. Turns out this lady has had the car for around 19 years and wanted some extra cash to put away towards retirement, and told someone about it, who intern called me and within hours the car was acquired. It was right in our neck of the woods, so we didn't have to go far to get it and time was of the essence as many of us know all so well. The friends (thanks) that located the car wanted to meet at a local gas station with the car, (while on a test drive for me to look at) I told them that was not a good idea, as I preferred a more private location, but they insisted.
Within 45 seconds, this ankle biter pulls up in a truck wearing a Plymouth Barracuda Hat, knows of the car and everything Cuda related...Wow what a handful he was, just the mere reason I didn't want to go there. He said he was offered the car for 6k....(and didn't buy it?) What an idiot!
Here is a quick pic of the car as well as the fender tag.
I absolutely love the color and wonder just how many of these were produced in Butterscotch in 71'?
The Butterscotch exterior, white/black interior, 340-4 speed, black billboards is just a great combination.
I will post some more pics as time permits.
