PG Classics discount
« on: August 08, 2013 - 02:43:52 AM »
Got an email for 20% off their entire catalog. I don't have a rear view mirror on my passenger side. They have a set, for, like 320 bux for both driver remote and passenger side chrome mirrors. Is this a good deal? My driver side is painted. Don't know if I like that or not. I like chrome, lol. I REALLY want a pass. side mirror. I don't have one, and it really bothers me. Heck, I used to have a Mustang II/pinto/bobcat, and had one of those whacky panoramic rear view mirrors in it that spanned the entire windshield. I would almost like one of them again. It was like looking out of a slit in a tank up front, though.

I had one of them once was like being in the cupola of a tank. didn,t miss nothing though! I have been on the look out for a passenger side chrome racing mirror for years that is very slightly pitted to match my driver side one. :lol2:

Maybe it depends on what part of the U.S. you are in, and what is location of the customs it goes thru. I've never had any trouble here in Maryland in getting my order in a few days, but I haven't ordered that many items from them either.   :-\

I took advantage of this sale and ordered up some grill trim, mirrors, tail light bezels, and chrome headlight rings.  Great price, free shipping and it only took a week to get here in Wi.  One mirror was back ordered.  It showed up a week later.  I got emails with tracking numbers and there was no drama.  Everything looks good.   I think this was a great savings and would recommend taking advantage of it while you can.

Kinda funny and ironic that everyone has the opposite experience than me from PG.

Oh well, found better places anyway.

For you American guys you can always pay a little bit more and buy the same stuff from BE&A.  :bananasmi

Also a lot of other vendors carry PG's/BE&A's products like Dave at Roseville. :2thumbs:

Right now it's kinda hard to beat 20% off and free shipping. :dunno:

Got an email a day or so ago, and they said Thanks, and it's on it's way! Maybe tomorrow? Shipping is always crazy! I don't get it. How some companies can ship for free escapes me. I bought an aluminum can crusher off the bay for like $7.00 free shipping. If I tried to ship something like that, it would cost more than the item?
