Looks great: We're all excited to see what it looks like in colour, so I can imagine how you are feeling.

I'm really trying to be patient waiting for the car to come back.  It seemed like when I first dropped off the car things where happening pretty quickly and I could see a lot of progress.  Now that it is getting ready for paint it seems like time has sloowweeddd dooowwwwnnnn.    :big smile:

I know it should be done really soon but I am having a hard time being patient.  Can't wait to share pictures with you guys when I get it back home.

A few teaser picts.....       I'm still waiting for the hinges to come back from the rebuilder, I can't get the car finished up until that happens.   :swear:  I'm hoping they show up this week.  I'm not too picky on the correct way to black out the front area but I have already asked them to go back and paint the front of the upper radiator support rail (bar that goes across the top) yellow.  This is the only thing that bothers me other wise the rest is fine even if it is not totally OEM correct.

I'm hoping to maybe get the car back at the end of next week if everything works out correctly.  If not, it will be the week after.  More picts to follow at that point.......

Now's the time to be picky! It's much harder after it's all back together. That black rad support would have bugged you I'm sure.

Looks great. This is how I did my two but I don't think there are hard and fast rules and you have to like the way it looks.

Nice job on the painting details.  Looks great!
It is a good model for others painting the front frame area.

Really like the way your car is turning out.  The paint looks great!
Same color as my A66 Challenger vert that I am just starting to work on after years of storage!

That is how Graveyard Carz showed they painted the blackout.......the painter was underneath in a pit as the cars came over and the spray covered the underneath and did not get overall as you pic shows.............just right..............

The car is finally back home!  :bananas:  I had the body shop fix the blackout on the front end area.  I will black out any additional area's myself once I get the grill back from the painter.  I need to see how much of the yellow is showing thru the grill.

I was able to put the hood scoops back on today as well as the front side marker lights.  Next up is to remove the front suspension/steering stuff to clean it up, paint it, and replace the steering components.  After that will be the rear end.  So much work to do.....
