Anything jump out as your favorite spot on the trip?
Hmm. I don't know about a favorite, but I can offer some observations.
1-The transportation infrastructure in Paris all smells like a urinal. Even the high speed trains, which are expensive enough that I would have expected to be well-maintained.
2-Notre Dame is pretty, and I'm impressed that it's been standing for hundreds of years, but honestly I think NAtional Cathedral in DC is prettier.
3-Long story, but I did not get to go up in the Eiffel Tower. Would have loved to have done so.
4-Disneyland PAris is nothing special. I'm a huge Disney fan, love Walt Disney World, but this was like any other park in the world.
5-Holland is a very pleasant place. I've been in Amsterdam the entire time so far, so the pot might be making everyone mellow
6-I'm big on naval histrory, and Holland has it in spades, so that's been nice.
