Transgo TF-SC kit and TF-2 kit difference.
« on: August 14, 2013 - 10:01:49 AM »
Hi, I'm going to purchase one of these kits in the next few days and I'd just like to know what the actual differences are in these two kits. There is quite a price variation between them and  I don't see the point in paying extra for the TF2 kit if I can use the TFSC kit with a few extra mods.
So are there extra springs, like line pressure and shift timing springs in the TF2 that are not in the TFSC??? or is it just a matter of more information and separator hole sizing?

I don't know what the differences are but I'm very happy with my TF2 kit.  Very fast shifts without the overlap you get with other cheaper kits.

Well, it looks like the only parts you get in the TF-2 kit are are
New pressure regulator spring
New throttle valve spring
New 3-2 downshift limit valve spring
New 1-2 governor valve , which is only for the Shift Command option, that most would not use.
New manual control valve to allow converter filling in Park.

Can anyone tell me what springs are furnished in the TFSC kit?
