Backwards wipers?
« on: August 14, 2013 - 05:43:56 PM »
Ok, got my wipers in and when I turn them on they go down instead of up.  When I turn them off they park up.
I hope its an easy fix?
Thanks

Make sure your transmission, motor and switch or all 3 speed or 2 speed. I had a 2 speed switch with a 3 speed motor that tried to park when you turned it on.

ok, the issue is that they dont park all the way, when I shut them off they go backwards but not all the way, if i use my hand they will go all the way but need help.
Do I need to rebuild this?
Anyone with the same problem?

Seems to be a common problem , if the wipers stay up it can burn out the motor .
If you have to rebuild kim @ Passion 4 mopars is the go to person

Are they getting hung up on the wide chrome trim at the base of the windshield? I had to stick my trim piece down with a small dab of silicone so the wiper arm on the driver's side would clear.  :2cents:

I pulled the wipers off. It seems like its inside the motor, I think something is worn.
I have an email to Kim at passion and am awaiting a response
