I also forgot to ask, are you going to repaint the interior as well?

I don't think I'll need to Bryan, it's in pretty good shape. I may however, it just depends. I am going to see how well the joint sealer is still attached, if it peals off I may end up repainting inside.

Hi Colo,
Not trying to hijack your thread buddy, just posting these pictures up for Fablz to show him what the emblems look like so he has a reference. :clapping:
I do not have measurement for him yet, i found these on my database, my fenders are at my Brothers place at the moment.

But if you look at where the 383 emblem is situated, it is fitted more rearward rather than central of the Barracuda emblem above. These do look like the same emblem that is used on a Dodge Superbee hood scoop, but i will take a measurement of the emble also in case they are larger to cross reference with, if i get one of the emblems off i will post up a Chrysler part number from the back of the emblem too :2thumbs:
Sorry for the bad picture quality, i wanted to show that both sides have the 383 emblem towards the rear when mounted. :swaying:

Thanks Ken  :worshippy And I didn't mean to hijack your thread Colo, you just rarely see one of the 602 BH23N code cars original

Much appreciated :2thumbs:

No Worries guys  Here's a picture of the passenger fender from mine. I had pics with the tape measure to the holes but they came out very hard to read so I'll get you better ones on Monday.

I just had an idea Falbz, I can lay a piece of paper over the holes with some reference marks and make you a template, just PM a good mailing address to me. I also noticed that my 383 four barrel emblem and hemiken's 383 emblem are not in the exact same place. Who knows Chrysler's reasoning for that  :dunno:

I parted out a 70 "L" code 383 2bbl Barracuda awhile back. I think I still have one fender off of it....I should check for holes. I'd be surprised if it had "383" emblems too....

Hey Colo,

Can you flip your fender over and look at the holes on the backside of where the emblems go through please buddy. Your fender has a different emblem to my fender all together. Just wondering if yours have been changed at all or if the ones you have a for an N-code car and what i have is for an L-code car :clueless:

That's what is confusing me...I've seen the "383 Four Barrel" emblems on "N" code cars before, but never seen the "383" emblem on a "L" code before HOWEVER Haven't seen too many "L" code Barracudas either. :2cents:

Here is the blurry pic I mentioned earlier, at least you can see the hole alignment. The tape is hooked on the fender edge. I can take a picture of the back for you on Monday. I also attached a couple more progress pics. I have a media blast appointment for Wednesday, they'll keep it for about a week.

Big day tomorrow, I'm taking the car to Media Blast where it will stay for about a week. Also, I got the call today that tomorrow is Dyno day for my 432 stroker :cooldancing:
Here are a few more progress pics.
