440 in a Dakota Truck

The island of Oahu in Hawaii no longer has a Drag Strip . Ran into an old race buddy of mine . He sold a small motor Dodge Daytona Race Car and wanted to build something different . How about a 440 in a Dodge Dakota Truck .

It came out really nice . He put in a mild cam and was built to be a street car . Very Cool

Looks like a D50, not a Dakota. That would be a tight fit

There's a 91 Dakota with a 400 in it sitting in my dad's shop. He really wants me to get rid of it. That's a project I lost interest in a long time ago.
