All things being equal I would take the V code all day long. Fewer built, 100 more HP, HD Hemi 4 speed, Dana 60. This is what muscle Mopars are all about!

But all things are not equal lol the V code is 18k more and #2 condition vs the much lower priced #1 condition TA.  Not to mention the documentation that comes with the TA, and as Cody showed, the difference between the 2 as far as rarity in concerned is negligible.  Plus the TA/AARs are the ONLY type of car that came with a 340 6 pack.  I think he made the right choice, TA all day!

Yes in this case I agree that the T/A was a better buy due to price and condition. The thing with the V code cars is that they are and always will be the most desirable muscle Mopars next to the Hemi's.  Having said that T/A's and AAR's are certainly super neat Mopar's and due to their uniqueness will always be extremely collectable. I would love to own either one but having a choice for me it would be a V code.

T/A. Better condition and a better price.

If I wanted something for power alone, I probably wouldn't want to drive the piss out of a numbers matching rare car. I'd go for a clone for performance.

My two cents anyway.
