Where in newfoundland was it found?

I figure the fact it was up on barrels saved it's life from pools of potentially salty water.

I would have left it bone stock, I think in the mopar world this car was famous enough between the story and the picture being circulated around the net i'd love to own it as it should have been.

Sold new in Grand Falls NFLD but changed hands a few times. The car was placed on barrels in Port Rexton NFLD and made it's way to Ontario around 1999. After appearing on the Cars-in-Barns web site, I assume the owner was getting bugged to sell it too often, and moved it to Ontario.

The guy that owned it the most kept it until he died, his wife sold it very soon after...The owners son was kinda pissed and was trying to sell the shaker air clearner on EBay a while back. The guy from St. Catherines that I bought it from bought the shaker air cleaner for "Wall Art". I still have the original hood for the same purpose.

I kept the "Day Two" wheels as well..

  Certain cars should be left alone and that was one of them-of course after Alan beautifully restored it.

Best option is #1 being 100% broadcast sheet.  But I do like the day three.  Nice to be able to compare the chrome bumper with the elastomeric bumper on the same car and I think I like the elastomeric better.  The '71 grille is a little too busy for me, but seems less busy without the chrome bumper.  I like the billboard/dog dish combo on that color green.  Just my opinion.

Love the billboards, rubber bumper, and fogs.    But not feeling the green wheels.  Weren't body colored wheels 1970-only???  1971 had black for steelies?  I'd prefer black steelies.


Rallyes...everyone's got.  Period look, I'd find me some Keystone Klassics or even Centerlines.

You're 100% correct ! Going by the build date of the car, the steel wheels would have been black and of course they would have been the elusive "450" wheel

I like the changes, but HATE the wheels...even more then I dislike the Magnums...

awesome car,  but to me there are some colors that just don`t look right when used on wheels... green is one of them    Black wheels would be a great improvement imo

here is a pic of the barrelcuda's garage mate,70 hemi challenger.all mods done on the barrelcuda are easily reversible,I'd love to install louvers but that entails drilling holes in the car and thats not gong to happen!


ps   am I  the only one having trouble with this site? it completly bogs my computer down on here.
