So all things being the same this is a good topic. If you didnt have to part hunt. You bought a rusty POS but had all the parts there. There wouldnt be a big difference in price of restoration if it was a 76 dart 6 cyl or a 69 Daytona Charger hemi.
A Paint job is a paint job, interior parts are mostly the same, they all have the same transmission, rear end, and many other parts are the same. What gets expensive is if you have to get the specialty parts that are unique to a hemi car, aero ect.
so if you were going to restore a car I'd be looking for the most complete car available to keep costs down.
