Never knew there were so many guys in that age range on this board. I thought everyone was in their 30's or so by the way everyone is so full of life and joking around. I'm 29 and thought I was right there with you all.

Well as a cc.com service I'm willing to help each and everyone see their car being enjoyed, just toss me the keys, haha. Just kidding!

You all seem plenty young to me, just have fun and keep on wrenching

29yr old GF ?!

WTF, I don't feel sorry for you anymore, enjoy life!  Haha

Sounds like you might be flushing the Cuda and Viper dream right down the toilet. My daughter is 33, has a kid and wants more. All you'll need is a pregnant 29 YO girlfriend who will make you trade in the Viper because the baby seat wont fit.

As others have said I too have considered getting rid of my cuda because of other life changing events.  I'll be 60 soon and I have had my cuda since the age of 18.  I ask myself why do I still have this car after 40 plus years.  I don't drive it as often as I would like to because I work a lot of overtime so when I have the spare time to cruise I feel the need to sit at home and catch up with other stuff.

Age gets you thinking about priorities in life.  I hope you figure it out.

Geeze and here I thought I was an old cogger at 46  I myself have tossed around a few times about just selling out due to the fact my job situation has been the past couple of years. My health hasn't been the best either but then I think if I did I would regret it and know damn well I could never afford to replace what I have. I myself don't like or want the newer stuff i'm old school and working on them is my passion and what keeps me going in life and without that well.. i'd give up in life. As others have said do whats best for you life is too short man.

I never feel as young as when I'm driving my Challenger. Now, working on it is another matter

...I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but Ill be 62 this October...I have been lucky in life financially, pretty good health and still love the old cars, but driving a new Challenger has virtually erased my needs for an old MOPAR...SRT, loud exhaust, SHAKER hood and a Pistol Grip Shifter, seems like 1970 all over again except I have AC , a fantastic stereo and the car is way faster

...I also have Vipers, they sit in the garage beside the old MOPARS while I drive the new Challengers...get the right new Challenger and you'll never look back

...I have also lost 30 lbs in the last 3 months and I feel like a new kid again, lots more to go, but I feel better every day

I'm 56 and just bought my Cuda in June . I have bad knees but fortunately no back problems . I sold my Cuda over 30 years ago . Life goes on , but I always wanted to get another car again . Since my car arrived , I've been buying tools , ordering parts and spending time in the garage just polishing the car . I've had the dash apart 4 times just trying to get the wipers to work , LOL . I've been to 3 Cruise Nights so far . I find it enjoyable to be around other people who share the same passion and running into old race buddies I haven't seen in 30 years . We all have different reasons for keeping our cars and I can understand how you feel . You should go to a cruise night with some friends . If you find you didn't have a good time , it's probably time to sell . Good Luck

Exactly the oppsite- the ex didn`t like my cars(I think she was jelous of them) but the new GF encourages me to go work on them and drive them.

I myself don't like or want the newer stuff i'm old school and working on them is my passion and what keeps me going in life and without that well.. i'd give up in life. As others have said do whats best for you life is too short man.

I do like some of the new stuff but my fear is that I won`t have anything I`m passionate about like the old Mopars and a newer car just won`t be the same.

54 seems to be a  good year for a wake up call. I had to pull my trans when I was 54 and struggled with the strength to break the bolts lose and ended up with a lot of soreness. I have always been active but didn't realize atrophy due to age was setting in. So I decided to lose 20 pounds and start a weight training program. Hit the gym 5 days a week and what a difference it has made and at 62 I can still pull motors and trans and climb around under a car. Now if I can figure how to improve these old eyes to see what I'm doing!
