Got a new electrical problem.   Here are the symptoms:

With light switch in parking light or headlight on position:
The side markers and front and rear parking lights will blink like a turn signal every couple seconds.
If I have dome light on they will not blink.

With light switch off:
The brake lights will eventually blink as well

I have replaced all the flashers (2) and tried a spare turn signal switch.  Still does the same thing.  Is there a main ground wire I should be looking for?  I was thinking maybe a bad dimmer or headlight switch?  Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

sounds moore like a short , can you hear the flasher clicking when the lights flash there is power to the flashers from the fuse block which connects into the 3 way &  turn switches sound like power from a flasher is going into the brake circuit or turn signal , the problem could all be in the turn signal switch with the 4 way & brake circuit

Thanks for your response.

I went out tonight and checked both flashers are not making noise when lights are blinking.  I do notice sometimes it takes a couple seconds for parking lights to come on but headlights come on right away when I turn them on.  In regards to a short what's the best way to test each part?  Anything else you can add would be helpful.  Thanks

pull the switch panel & short the wires to the park lights at the headlight switch & see if they flash if they do not then the headlight switch has to be the culprit

Try removing the flashers when the lights start blinking. That at least removes them from the equation as a problem
if nothing changes.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Which colored wires would I need to jump?  I tried a brand new headlight switch I have and it still does the same thing.

I am going to pull the flashers tonight and see if that does anything.

I have the dash out and did notice the right side blinker indicator is very slightly lite.  So I am thinking it is something with the right side.

I have the wiring diagram so I am going hunting this weekend.

Thank you and if you think of anything else I should try let me know

I would need the wiring diagram to see which wires to jump but you could jump the 12 v feed to th epark light circuit

Thank you both for your help.  Ended up being the fuse.  I tested the fuse in the car with a meter and one side of the fuse had full power and the other side power would jump.  Took fuse out and tested with ohm meter and it was no good.  New fuse all problems went away...
