Welcome to the site, Frank. Do you have a budget? Are you looking for a project, or a ready-to-drive car?

Hi Frank,

Welcome to the site.  You'll enjoy yourself here, and learn a lot.

My wife is from Bremen, and I've visited a few times with her.

Hello Frank, Welcome...Do you know Charly ? He just bought my 1971 Cuda last year, maybe you saw it at your Mopar Nationals ?.... http://www.alangallantautomotiverestoration.com/Past-Restp---71-340-Cuda.html

I would like to help you find your dream car, but I don't know of any in the $40K range...cars I know about are more $$$$

Cheers  and good luck !

Alan

Welcome frank.  Good luck w/your search.

You looking for an automatic car?   Four-speed?  Any particular engine?

Doubt for $40k USD, you'll find a 440-6 car, but good chance w/some patience, might find a nice 440 U-code or 383-N code RT SE.  Four-speeds and certain color combos dictate higher prices of course, along w/cool options too, like PW, luggage rack (I like 'em), AC, etc.

Good place to find cars besides e-bay and here and moparts.org:

Needs more info on whether it has a fender tag or buildsheet, but this looks promising:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-DODGE-CHALLENGER-R-T-SE-440-4-SPD-EXTREMELY-RARE-1-400-/290965013813?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43beddc535#v4-36

Needs a new trunk pan and rear trunk extension work, but if it's a triple black RT four-speed w/those options (AC and PW), then it's worth a good look.

hm...I think...this car needs a lot of more work...it's really hard to buy a car only to lean on a couple of pictures. this car ist also listed here, for a cheaper price and it's additional reduced, because of the leaky heater:
http://newyork.craigslist.org/jsy/cto/4019199029.html
the whole car seems to be a big construction area.
I think the vinyl top was sprayed with --> http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ma2jnnuDGY1qgorrho1_400.jpg      :(

http://www.streetsideclassics.com/showcar.php/dfw/211   --> this car is also listed in sweden, but it's located in the US! a member of our mopar-forum.de knows the car...it's a dazzler!!!

http://www.cars-on-line.com/67441.html   --> hm...maybe a good car, I will write him an email  :grinyes:

thx for your help!

regards

frank
