power steering pump pulleys?

What is the difference in power steering pump pulleys...Ihave seen the 3 spoke pulleys and solid pulleys???

I can tell you that the solid ones are for small blocks while the 3 spoke are for big blocks.

Apparently the 3 spoke are larger for big blocks so they can turn slower, whereas I believe the solid ones are 1 for 1 or close to it.

Do you run power steering and A/C?

If you are running only power steering and an alternator with the ever present water pump on a 440 then take a look at 440source as they have the correct one with proper offset. It's the one I am using now and didn't take much to set it up.

I got my PS pump from Buchillion too.  The dude there really knows his stuff.  Sent me a complete setup......pump, reservoir, cap, bracket, hardware, pulley, and pressure line.  The brackets are nice and thick and powder coated.  Everything lined up.  You just have to press the pulley onto the pump shaft.  Easy enough.  The price was reasonable too, but it all adds up to $$$$

I am planning to run powere steerign and alternator only, NO AC.

I have a pump and brackets (well most of them).  The pulley is the solid.  I think i have seen that hte solid pullyes are for big block and the 3 spoke pulleys are for small blocks.  Just want to make sure I have the right parts beforr I get any further.

If someone could post detailed pics of the small-block setup please, it would be appreciated.  I provided CUDAJAS with a '70 340 pump (Saginaw) which may still be missing a bracket and we need to know what to look for (I have lots o' brackets...)

I have the factory setup off my original 340  - brackets and the right pulley if you need them let me know because you are in Canada no? I am so that means no getting screwed for customs $$$ if you are north of 49.

I know this is an old post but it sure answered my question.  My PS pulley is a bit wobbly and was looking for replacement.  Was concerned about offset too.  But for a 440 running Alt, PS, and WP, no a/c, the pulley from 440 Source is the way to go. 
Now, is removing the nut is all that is needed to remove the pulley or do I need a puller also?
