They all originally had a resin component. There are re-pops out there, but the resin that is used turns yellow with age. i have seen some folks clean the originals after the resin has been removed (or popped off by age), paint them the appropriate colors of red & blue, and then use a non-yellowing resin. I have yet to do that myself. i have a set of re-pops that turned yellw that i didn't use, and was thinking if trying the process out on them.
The trunk emblem used to be re-popped, but that was some years ago. i have not seen one lately. mine was decent enough to use, but i would like to find, or restore one, that is better than what i have. the surround outside of the shield gets painted argent to blen in with the tail panel.
There are two versions of the fender emblem. One for 70 (has posts on the back for the fender), and the 71 that is a stick on (goes on the door).
