I asked the previous owner about hauling it on an open trailer when my husband was standing there and he said that would be fine but after I hung up I guess they both decided they were afraid it would get banged up. This has been his baby for a lot of years, and my husband stopped and bought me a California car duster, deep clean and liquid lustre before he came home. I think he's trying to tell me something...
If the hard part at a car show is to not get upset about losing, I think I've got that licked. At least I won't have to worry about showing my face in public after the car bolts towards the judge and him running for cover (horse show), snapping/growling when the judge squeezes his jewels a little too tight (dog show) or my car taking out 2 other cars who had been ganging up on some other entries (longhorn steer). :-)
