Thanks topcat. When you say inside are you referring to from within the trunk itself?  I used the light trick on the window frame and thought that I had the spots.  Based on your picture (quite helpful BTW), it looks like these are about every 4 inches versus the normal 2 inches?

Is the tail panel and then trunk gutters the last to be replaced? Did you do final welds on the quarter to the Dutchman or tack it until the complete trunk was set?

Tail panel last is what I would do last.

Side gutters before quarter goes on. The quarter lips meet together and pinch weld.
Quarter to dutchman weld sides together. Then lastly tail panel.

Remember, use clamps to trial fit before welding.

Roloc will spot the spot welds to drill out. Try not to drill thru both.
Use wonder bar/chisel on stubborn welds after if necessary.

It varies. I had a tough time spotting where the original welds were on my dutchman. You'll get better at it trust me! I know.

Okay, it's been a few weeks but progress is being made.  All the undercoating is off, what a bugger! I've put the Dutchmen in with screws.  The passenger side has a pretty good line with maybe a 1/16 adjustment for the new quarter.  The driver side is off more but I think that it is because the original quarter was pushed in from a minor accident.  I chose to wait for the new quarter match before nipping and tucking for a final fit.

I'll start another topic for the quarter removal.
