I installed mine earlier this year. You really need help since they slide on over the clips as the trim is fed on.As one person is feeding the trim from the front of the door; the other person is gently lifting the tip of the trim over the clip on the stud and having it fall over the slot area which is underneath. Then feed the trim to the next stud/clip and repeat. Put green 3M tape parallel to it each side so in case the trim begins to want to scratch the paint. Check for any sharp edges before feeding trim on.

WoW...That does sound difficult....I've only installed about a dozen sets over the years, but never tried that method.I usually set one side of the trim down over the clip then gently pull it over the clip snapping it in place, same with hood trim, tail panel trim...any trim that uses a plastic clip
