« on: September 07, 2013 - 08:20:39 PM »
Small amount of rust coming through on the right rear lower quarter (big surprise) of my baby....do you guys

1- Recommend AMD or Goodmark;

2- What vendor?

Lapsed member who's been busy paying for his daughter's college..= low on funds. Now it looks like I can get this thing done.

Thanks-- Mike

how bad is the rust? what size hole(s)?  Pictures would help.

When I did mine, I was told by Dave at Rosevillemoparts.com, that the quarter patches are the most returned item for body repair due to poor fitting.  I just patched it with sheet metal.

Before paint removal...

After........

Wow..looks great! I'm just afraid my skill level doesn't match yours, so I'm going to a good body shop with part on hand. My car is in storage away from my home, so give me this week to get pics over.  My first car was a 73 Barracuda with the same problem, so this is a bad trip down memory lane...

AMD has discontinued the rear section patch panels and have never made the fron sections, they are only offering skins and quarters.

A "good" body shop should be able to do the repair without a patch panel.  You may only need a patch panel if yours is rusted along the wheelwells.
