Radar does not work
« on: September 09, 2013 - 03:37:56 AM »
The far right gauge with the crosshairs. Nothing has happened since I have owned the car. Shouldn't there be red lights moving around in there that show me where the cops are like in my old Atari 2600 video game?

Could it be the ballast resistor? Neutral safety switch?!? >:(

Or am I totally off base here and is it an attitude indicator to help maintain straight and level flight for those Dukes of Hazzard style jumps they used to do back in those days? :clueless:

Or maybe I need to double check my grounds? :villagers:

That's just an early version on the flux capacitor.

I'm thinking your Folderol Spring may be wound to tight...Back it off a couple of turns & see what happens.

You're missing the dish. Here's one mounted to a Corvair trunk.

Ok thanks for the tips. So far I gather I'll need to keep it under 88mph to prevent unintentional time travel until I get that flux capacitor looked at.   :eek4:

Maybe I should upgrade to the Hemi folderol spring because it's already backed off as far as it will go?  Year one doesn't have them in stock.  Does anyone got one to trade for my extra flux capacitor? :clueless:

I'll look into the dish which would be cool if I could also steal some satellite TV.  :thinkerg:

I like to use the cigarette lighter socket to keep myself alert during those long late night cruises. So plugging it into there is out of the question.

I always keep a hammer in the box for those situations like this:

But not like this:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
