Steel wheels, long wheel studs and center caps
« on: September 09, 2013 - 09:46:10 AM »
So I'm thinking of throwing a set of color matched steel wheels on the cuda just to change up the look a bit.  I have long wheel studs in the rear on Ralley wheels.  Will I be able to put a center dog dish cap on a steel wheel with long wheel studs?

I had 3" studs in the rear and mocked up 15x7 cop car wheels with dog dish caps and they all seemed to clear.  I have axles from Dr Diff and a disc brake kit on the back so there might be some differences in terms of how much stud length is used up in the axle flange/brakes etc.  I can measure my wheels/dog dish caps if it will help.

Thanks, I'm still running drums out back but with 3 inch studs. If your's are ok I would assume my would be as well.
