I finally got my slapstick shifter brackets all sized and welded in. I must say though it made me nervous welding inside the car but I got it done without incident. This was an original column shift car so I had to place it all by scratch, fits good, works good and feels comfortable while in the seat. I will keep all measurements and take pictures because I know sometime in the future someone will once again need to know this stuff. I am a happy camper, finally something went just right!
