Found wrecked Gen I Viper

I found this while cruising around this weekend. Man oh man do I want the transmission from this car!

Would be interesting (or not maybe) to see the rockers with the sidepipes on an E-body with the sidepipes functional.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

You guys gotta hop over to www.protouringmopar.com and check out a sweet dart build,  gen 2 viper motor, trans, and rear suspension, not to mention interior with 4 viper buckets and a custom hood made by combining a dart hood and a 06 viper hood

That's snazzy, but I've got to say, the sound of a Viper engine doesn't quite do it for me. Sure its one of the baddest late model offerings, and that surely driven people to install them in earlier cars, but for the cost and effort of adapting one, I'd just as soon go with an EFI, aluminum, big block V8.

Just my age bias showing, I imagine.

I totally argee with you!  :grinyes:  Stock or aftermarket exhaust..... they all sound "funny".
BUT.... I still want one!  :drool:
