My 71 convertible also has the single torsion spring. I was unable to install it since the weld at the top of the support had broken loose and I did not discover this till after the car was painted. I have (2) 12" gas struts I am going to install also.

Soo.. now it is time to put things back together.....
Q; Side door window... when cranking the window ALL the way down.... the glass will directly contact the bottom of the inner door...
     I was expecting say a rubber part somewhere in between AM I MISSING SOMETHING ?????

I've tried to search for "rubber down stop blocks" on c-c.com...... found written info, but no pics......
If anyone have a picture or would care to make a simple sketch,... I would know what to look for....

Hello David... Yes, I'll need those rubber stoppers.....but I no longer need the P-wire, as I found one at Ken D's ...http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=94329.msg1000402#msg1000402

It is RELLY hard to get hold of small screws etc.... no hardware store has UNC or UNF around here...
So I keep visiting friends.... and sometimes I get lucky... and they have leftovers....(both bolts and booze he he....).
GOOD THING WE HAVE MANY DECENT MOPARS HERE AT THE WEST COAST OF NORWAY !!!

Anyone who can help my friend with a new grille piece for his Charger?....He needs the RHS plastic + trim...

Ahhh ****ty weather outside,...and I'm low on energy.
I could start to study the wiring diagrams,...or simply ask you....
...and I chose the latter... PLEASE help....

Q) What are the connectors A, B,C,D for, and where do they connect?
Where is relay E to be located?

.... I also came across some old pics in my glove compartment....from a roadtrip my wife and I did back in -97.
Hmmmm.... should be time for a new long trip.....maybe this summer ???

This is your time delay harness, which is part of the optional light group. This is the part that lights up your, map light, your ignition lock light and your light that lights up you headlight switch area. The time delay relay, that you are asking for location, is just stuffed up with the wiring harness. It is not wrapped up because it get a little hot.

I know you want to hide the relays and fuses but you are not thinking about future troubleshooting a bad relay or fuses when you are on the side of the road in total darkness. Also you should use circuit breakers in the low beam and high beam supply circuit.

Well, the way I see it, the location of the ORIGINAL FUSES are as BAD as it gets.....
It is IMHO easier to access the relays and fuses located under the battery tray...... even without removing tray...
Now if you take the trouble to remove the battery and tray,...you have FULL access....
….which is NOT the case for the all the original under dash relays and fuses.

…I assume that by circuit breakers you mean fuses ?
I have fuses for lights and even for EACH SIDE,.. see the red thingies under relays in original picture.

NEW QUESTIONS  P L E A S E  H E L P . . . .;
1)Is there a way to test the time delay rele?
2) in electric diagrams there is a reference to time rele grounding…. WHERE AND HOW ??
3) Tail lights (now -70 style) Where/how are housings grounded ?
4) Rear side marker lights…. Can you pull out the bulb from the inside of trunk ???

The head light circuit does not use any fuses. There is a circuit breaker inside the switch that auto resets itself. Your lights will go off but come back on or sometimes flash if there is a short circuit or use 4 H4 headlights.  A new circuit breaker will plug in where your fuses are. but takes up the space of 2 fuses.
Relays should be mounted upright to keep water out.
Time delay relay comes on when you open the door, but does not go off right away after closing it. If working, you will feel it get warm in your hand, then lights will go off. It grounds through your door grounding circuit that makes the dome light come on.  (yellow wires?)
70 taillights are grounded through the rear panel mounting studs and nuts. Not very reliable. I solder a wire that goes to every socket and then ground it to the metal with a screw at one end. 
Rear marker lights pull out from inside trunk. Front marker lights do not pull out from the inside and the lens has to be pulled off.
