Lets see your 1972 V21 `Cudas
« on: September 14, 2013 - 11:13:24 AM »
Here's mine. Rallye red, 340 4spd car with the factory G36 body colored racing mirrors option... which on this car meant the color keyed grille as well.

Thanks, I've been reading Mopar magazines since the 80's and I've never seen one of these type optioned cars covered. I've only seen one at a National show, and have found one other locally. This one is also a G36 coded car and should have come with body color grille.

Here's my first cuda.
It did not have it's tag.
Owner had it since the 70's in Pennsylvania.
Said it came like this.  Petty blue code with the black out hood.  So said the previous owner.
No proof though.  Not original paint on the car several resprays.

Here is one I got off of ebay.
Looks like the mirrors are painted black. Which would be wrong.  right?

Is the V21 the blacked out hood treatment?  If so, it looks very cool!  8)

I think there is another red 'Cuda on this site, yes?  :clueless:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

black out hood and color keyed  grill.

I think the tail panel gets blacked out also.

There should be another option that goes with it also.  Can't remember what it is.
