Colorado, are the red arrows to show the connectors orientation?  That is one thing that I wasn't able to look at to compare from the service manual to my actual wiring harness.  I think the manual shows the connector as if you were looking at it from the wire side with it being plugged into something.  To me it would make more sense if they would have showed the connector as if you had unplugged it and were looking at it from the terminal side.   :dunno:

I have made some more upgrades to my original copy, if anyone wants the PDF of the newest version shoot me a PM with your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

Look at 'reply #8'      That is looking at firewall bulkhead directly.   My red arrows would be engine, headlight and wiper connectors as if they were unplugged and turned down to see pins. Note the numbering of pins. Hope it helps. You can send what you have to me PM . tia

I always found the bulkhead part of the wiring diagram confusing, so I made my own diagram so I could trace the wires.  I cleaned it up, and here it is in jpeg form.  Hope it helps someone else.

I find this VERY helpful, especially the labeling of what is where.
Thank you!!!

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

I've been looking at various wiring diagrams and am starting to get an understanding of what is going on. I have a no start issue on my 72 challenger after I removed an aftermarket tach. The wiring behind the dash has a fair number of splices and other issues. Not that I'm an expert by any means but you can see that it has been manipulated a number of times. I have the 72 wiring diagrams and there is a symbol that I am confused about. It is a diamond shape with the number 1 in it.  I've attached a crop of the earlier posted diagram with a blue box around what I'm looking at. Can anyone clue me in on what this symbol means?

Thanx!

Sorry for the late reply. Pretty sure those are just splices where are the wires are connected together in those places.  The '70 diagram shows the same things with big dots (which make more sense to me).
